1828 Mourning ring

This gorgeous 1828 mourning ring is a fantastic example of an early 19th century mourning ring. It features delicately woven hair in the centre behind a glass window, surrounded with ornate black enamel.
On the inside of the ring, reads an inscription
'Valentine Beldam 0b. 26 May 1828 Age 85'
Feather shaped decorated shoulders adorn the ring further.
The ring is all 18ct yellow gold, fully hallmarked.
